What's Happening at Cordilleras? - Carolyn Rapier, MA, MFT - Administrator, Cordilleras Mental Health Center

Cordilleras MHC serves 116 adults with chronic mental illness in 2 residential care settings at its site off Edgewood Road in Redwood City. The goal of Cordilleras is to allow people who might otherwise be in a state hospital to develop the skills and support needed to live in the community. Carolyn, in her new role as Administrator, will explain the updated focus on recovery in clinical services and the role Cordilleras plays in the county's overall system of care. We also hope to have Caren Weingart, Director of Social Work and Carla Phillips, Clinical Director, share information about the discharge planning and medical treatment at Cordilleras.
